REFORMATION + 500
You are invited to an informal academic symposium, an afternoon of
reflection and discussion, sponsored by the Department of Theology
and Religious Studies on the 500th Anniversary of the start of the
Protestant Reformation to consider what happened back then, its
consequences over five centuries, and its legacy today and into the
future.

AL LEWIS INDUCTED INTO HALL OF FAME

On October 22, The Brooklyn USA Athletic Association will be inducting our own Al Lewis into their Hall of Fame.  Al was an all-star basketball player at Brooklyn"s Franklin K. Lane HS.  He went on to attend Kansas University on a basketball scholarship.  Among others being inducted are Lou Carnescca, retired St. John's University basketball coach and Dr. Solly Walker, who was the first black basketball star to play at St. John's University.  Please join us in congratulating Al Lewis on receiving this distinguished award!
