PALM SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 2020
It is particularly painful for us as we enter Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter, our holiest of days, not to be celebrating together.  However, we will continue with Church Service online.  This Sunday, Palm Sunday, we will be celebrating the Lord's Supper in a virtual manner. We will let you know as soon as we are online.
Happily, you will be able to pick up Palms from the church on Saturday, April 4. They will be put out on the table next to the front door as long as the weather is good. They will have been blessed by Pastor Moira and sanitized by a church member.
There will also be a basket of ribbons. On Easter Sunday, please tie a ribbon outside your home to show hope in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and hope for our recovery from COVID-19 pandemic.

AL LEWIS INDUCTED INTO HALL OF FAME

On October 22, The Brooklyn USA Athletic Association will be inducting our own Al Lewis into their Hall of Fame.  Al was an all-star basketball player at Brooklyn"s Franklin K. Lane HS.  He went on to attend Kansas University on a basketball scholarship.  Among others being inducted are Lou Carnescca, retired St. John's University basketball coach and Dr. Solly Walker, who was the first black basketball star to play at St. John's University.  Please join us in congratulating Al Lewis on receiving this distinguished award!
